Otay Sustainability Park (Formerly Otay Landfill)
City of Chula Vista residents are eligible for free drop-off passes to the Otay Landfill, call 619-482-4024
Certified Mattress Recycling Council location, Otay Landfill can accept up to 4 mattresses or box springs for free for recycling.
California Carpet Stewardship Program – Carpet – Drop-off Location
Please note: Area rugs are not covered under the CARE Program and therefore are not accepted.
Recycle: Please load your vehicle to keep the following materials separated for recycling: concrete/asphalt, metals, appliances, clean wood and yard waste.
Load Limits: Each pass may be used for a maximum material weight of 1 ton. Loads over 1 ton will be charged at current landfill rates.
Secure Loads: Please be careful to secure all materials in your vehicle before transporting. Use a tarp, rope or other means to ensure that no material is lost in transit.
Helmets: You will be required to use a helmet at all times, if you do not have one helmets are available for sale at the landfill booth.

Republic Services provides free compost to customers residing in the County of San Deigo at the Otay Sustainability Park 6 times a year at 1700 Maxwell Rd. Chula Vista 91911. Join us for our next giveaways!

All events are Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
To participate please provide proof of active account ownership in the form of an invoice or online app documentation, as well as a photo ID. Join us for our next giveaways! Don’t forget to bring your shovel, containers, and tarps.
