This location accepts used motor oil and oil filters plus car/motorcycle batteries at no charge. Limit 5-gal of used motor oil per person per day.
To transport a used vehicle battery, set it in a cardboard box that is layered with newspaper in case the battery leaks. Make sure the battery stays upright and doesn’t tip. You should also wear gloves for extra protection!
Oil contaminated with water, gas, or other automotive fluids will not be accepted. Call 1-800-237-BLUE to find the nearest household hazardous waste collection center.
