The County of San Diego’s Department of Public Works wants to hear from you!
Residents, businesses, and community members in unincorporated San Diego County are invited to participate in shaping the County’s update to its Strategic Plan to Reduce Waste. This plan applies only to unincorporated communities, and your feedback will help guide future recycling, composting, and waste reduction programs that directly affect these areas. Your input also supports broader climate goals of reaching 80 percent waste diversion by 2030 and 90 percent by 2045.
Please join us to:
• Learn about upcoming opportunities to reduce waste and expand recycling, composting, and education programs within unincorporated communities.
• Hear how community input from residents of these areas will guide the updated Strategic Plan.
• Share your ideas on how to ensure waste reduction solutions are practical, accessible, and aligned with your priorities.
