Yard trimmings and Clean Wood $40.00
Chipped Brush and Wood $20.00
$10.00 minimum charge on all loads
Acceptable Items:
Yard Trimmings consisting of branches, grass, leaves.
Clean unpainted wood with no metal contamination other than nails.
To qualify for chipped prices, chips must not be mixed with unground material.
All items must be under 20 inches in diameter and less than 48 inches in length.
Christmas trees from residents through the month of January at no charge to San Diego County residents. To qualify for free drop off, Christmas trees must:
- come from personal residences/non-commercial sources.
- be free of ornaments, stands, flocking and netting.
Christmas tree retailers and their contractors can recycle Christmas trees for $48 per ton.
Unacceptable Items:
Palm Fronds and trunks, Bamboo, Cactus and Yucca.
Stumps containing rocks or dirt.
Sod or dirt.
Wood with paint or stain, chemically treated wood.
Trash-including plastic, metal, glass and other contaminants.
Hazardous Waste of any kind.
