Bulky Item Pick-up (Residential) – Incorporated SD County
The following cities offer bulky item collection:
City of Carlsbad – Republic Services (760) 332-6464 Up to five bulky household items / three times annually at no charge. Residents who have already scheduled their three free collections can request a bulk item collection for a fee.
City of Chula Vista – Republic Services (619) 421-9400 Up to 10 bulky items picked up weekly, or 60 items in a 90 day period, free of charge. Additional items can be picked up for a small fee.
City of Coronado – EDCO (619) 522-7380 Bulky item pickup is scheduled twice a year: once in the Spring and once in the Fall.
City of Del Mar – Waste Management (858) 452-9810 three (3) free bulky pickups per year, up to five items per pickup.
City of El Cajon – EDCO (619) 287-7555. Two (2) free bulky pickups per year
City of Encinitas – EDCO (760) 436-4151 service is offered for a nominal fee
City of Escondido – Escondido Disposal (760) 745-3203 Bulk item pickup is offered for $14.51 per item, while refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners are $58.03 each because of the refrigerants.
City of Imperial Beach – EDCO (619) 287-7555 two FREE bulky item pick-ups per year
City of La Mesa – EDCO (619) 287-7555 bulky item pickup for a nominal fee
City of Lemon Grove – EDCO (619) 287-7555 bulky item pickup for a nominal fee
City of National City – EDCO (619) 474-8855 This service is offered free of charge on a quarterly basis, limited to three items.
City of Oceanside – Waste Management (760) 439-2824 The CurbUp! Program is offered twice per year; the first is two annual Donation Weeks and the second round is two Landfill Weeks. Residents may also schedule bulky item pickup service 3 times a year for up to 5 items.

The City of San Diego does not provide an on-demand bulky item pickup service for single family homes, but you may request a Community Cleanup if available.
