Haulers may also have certain requirements for the handling of specific items for curbside recycling. 

In general, place clean, dry and empty materials in your blue recycling bin for residential curbside pick-up. No broken glass.

-Can accept foam food containers but must be clean, also accepts large chunks of Styrofoam/packaging pieces

-Shredded paper is best placed in a sealed, labeled paper bag for easier handling.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

-No styrofoam/polystyrene accepted.

-Cardboard needs to be broken down to fit inside the cart.

-Containers that held motor oil or other cleaners, etc., can be put in as long as they are completely drained and cap off

-Shredded paper in paper bags.
