Paint is accepted during regular business hours. Call ahead to confirm hours and that the site can accept the amount and type of paint you plan to recycle.

Who Can Use This Program: California households and businesses.

Accepted Materials:

PaintCare sites accept latex and oil-based house paint, primers, stains, sealers, shellac, varnish, and other eligible architectural coatings.

Drop-Off Requirements:

• Limit: 20 gallons per visit.
• Products must be in their original containers (5 gallons or smaller) with the original manufacturer’s printed label and a secure lid.
• Containers must not be open, leaking, or empty.
• Aerosol products (including spray paint) are not accepted.
