For Households and Businesses
Restrictions: Limit: 20 gallons per visit.
Hours: Paint is accepted during regular business hours;
Call ahead for hours and to make sure the store can accept
the amount and type of paint you would like to recycle.
This site accepts latex and oil-based house paint, stains and varnish in
containers up to 5 gallons in size. This site does not
accept aerosols (spray paint or other spray products),
containers without original labels, or containers that are leaking or empty.

The Del Mar Farmers Market is a Certified and Non-Profit Farmers Market supporting California Farmers by providing opportunities to sell directly to the public. The Market offers pesticide-free seasonal fruits and vegetables, potted herbs, orchids, international cuisine, seafood, hummus, bread and baked goods, kettle corn, honey, jam, fruit juice, and arts & crafts.
The Market operates year-round
Saturdays from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.
on the lower outdoor parking lot at
1050 Camino Del Mar / Civic Center
with Free Parking in the Garage
Come and enjoy shopping for local fresh produce, seafood
and international cuisine to support the farmers and other vendors
as we all adjust to the ‘new normal’ of six foot distancing and mask wearing.
Pre-orders are encouraged to expedite the time spent in a public space.

Please provide a valid U.S. ID if you are requesting a recycling refund. If you do not have a valid U.S. ID, you may bring a second form of ID that includes your name and local address (such as a utility bill).
We accept all common types of scrap metal including items such as:

- Large domestic appliances
- Small electricals
- Aluminum cans
- Insulated copper wire

The following materials cannot be accepted
The following additional items are prohibited, so cannot be accepted at any of our yards:
- Oil
- Fuel
- Antifreeze
- Asbestos
- Radioactive materials or closed containers
- Propane or tanks
- Ammunition shells or other explosives ordnance

Compost bins must be purchased from the Dixieline ProBuild located in Solana Beach. At the point of sale, the person listed on the voucher will be required to show proof of residency in the form of a current utility bill and/or picture ID.
Vouchers are available to City of Del Mar residents only. Limited to one voucher per household.
Vouchers may not be transferred, resold and have no cash value. The City of Del Mar reserves the right to make changes to the Compost Bin Voucher Program as it deems necessary.
