How Much Will It Cost Me?

  • We are up front with our pricing. There are no hidden fees! All dump fees, gas fees, and other fees are included in our price.
  • The price is determined based on how much space it takes up in our truck or trailer. The junk can be boxes, trash bags, furniture, landscape debris, and much more!
  • We also don’t take paint, E-waste, hazardous materials, and tires.
  • Some companies won’t give you a price if you text them a picture. We quote almost all of our jobs from people texting us pictures. Text a picture now for a free quote.

Medications 

Medications in standard containers may be deposited in collection boxes. Loose medication can be put into plastic bags available at the collection box and then deposited. Please ensure any liquid medication is enclosed in secure containers before depositing.
Once collected, evidence staff will ensure the medication is disposed of according to federal standards.

Most prescription drug drop-off locations are open weekdays from 8am to 5pm. Call the station’s non-emergency number for hours.

Ammunition

Residents must go inside the station first to notify the front desk about the ammunition. Ammunition should be kept in the trunk until a deputy securely removes it from vehicle. Call the station’s non-emergency number for more instructions.

PaintCare Large-Volume Pickup Service

If you have a large amount of unwanted paint (100+ gallons), PaintCare offers a free service that benefits both you and their volunteer drop-off sites — you don’t have to take your paint to a drop-off site a little at a time, and they don’t get overwhelmed with large volumes of paint. This service is only available to households or businesses with at least 100 gallons of paint that are located in a PaintCare state or jurisdiction (CA, CO, CT, DC, ME, MN, OR, RI or VT).

Donations support the furry companions of senior citizens in the AniMeals Program operated by the Helen Woodward Animal Shelter.

Drop-off donations can be made between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. every Wednesday and Friday, as well as the first and third Saturday of each month.

What We’re Looking For

We accept all food items, including fresh fruit and vegetables. You can also donate baby food and baby care items, as well as unopened personal hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toilet tissue, paper towels and the like. We also welcome food and care items for senior residents.

We are always in need of basic food staples, such as peanut butter, which helps provide protein for families with children; cereal for children and our elderly population; canned spaghetti sauce and dry pasta; canned meat, such as tuna, beef and chicken. We always welcome surplus and imperfect food that is safe and edible.

    We would LOVE to receive these because they help ARWOB save funds everytime we spay/neuter our rescues. We go through A LOT of these.
  6. Flea, Tick & Heartworm preventatives – especially Comfortis or Trifexis.
    Any size is appreciated, but medium or large dog sizes are preferred so we can dose appropriately.

  8. Cat condos/ trees – Cat scatcher condos/hide aways for kittens and shy adult cats to transition well. Prefer NEW or in great shape and CLEAN.

We are offering contact-less donation drop-offs Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm via the alley behind CRC’s office at 650 Second St. in Encinitas. There you will find a donations table with donation receipts.
